documentary on 4OD

this documentary gives us information about the youth of today. it shows how urban sports has taken a turn and evolved into not something that is just done by law breakers, misfits and street teenagers but has blossomed into a career. youngsters who turn into athletes. Amazing. the first urban sports displays the different ways of how you can manoeuvre a bike. danny who lives in scotland comes from a small village is one of the best riders in the world. the other sport is free running which is performing almost superhuman stunts in a space of land efficiently without having to waste any extra energy. In the video the free running is done by paul joseph the world best free runner.

flat land biking is is probably the most difficult form of urban sports.
also they use street sports to try and express themselves and the way they work. the documentary is presented in a way where the interviews can display the express and the experience of the streets sports people. the aim of the documentary is to create a film that surpasses the previous storm volume 1. trying to create 4 films that exceed all expectations. experiment new ideas and stunts to try and create something new. also finding the best place to and most comfortable for the urban sportsmen is essential because if they don't find an suitable area of space for them to conduct their skills and they need to be happy with their location.

overall this video shows different ways to document the modern athletes in an interesting way that allows the audience and viewers to be entertained and learn about different sports at the same time. One part of the document is when the interview was being recorded the video of stunts is being taken while the interviewer is talking which is really effective.

filming in the graveyard

today we filmed in the graveyard, we filmed our main character(Neepa) walking down the path with a sad face. we also used different camera angles to capture the expression on the main characters face. at one point we also used graves to demonstrate the true sadness of the main character. by capturing all of these different angles and images we can give the audience an idea of what type of emotion our video is showing  as well as the tempo because generally sad and agonising music has a slow tempo.
we have changed our song from "Vanity" to "Don't Say Goodbye" by Olly Murs. we feel that the previous song that we chose didn't show any sadness and depression. what we are trying to portray in our music is agony as well as regret for the lost ones that are no longer here. this is why we put in a part were we see the graveyard. overall i think we made a better decision and our final production might be a better production.

Changes

unfortunately, we are no longer able create a dance routine with all the students we listed due to the time limit of 2 weeks of filming. so instead we are going to have one person (Neepa) who is the main character do the dance routine on her own.

Costumes
- for the first verse of the song i will be wearing skinny jeans and a tight
- for the chorus i will be wearing a lose clothing.

Make-up

- Neepa will back comb her hair to give it that frizzy look.
- Loads of make-up to make Neepa look like she is in vain

feedback for presentations

tanya and sam "you me at six" group 1

the presentation was well presented, she seemed to have covered most of the topic that needed to be covered. also talked about why she chose her video and who inspired her. the portion of information given good when explaining each topic. the location list they spoke about was quite interesting, gave detailed reasons why they wanted to film in those particular locations. also, gave an example about the type of music they want to produce by showing us a music video similar their idea.

Munashe, haris Umair, Haris Zulfiqar and Kashif Nasir

The presentational skills of this group was up to standard. it was Ok. this group did not fully grasp all the topics, but they explained the concept of their video and the reason for the music in the background which i think in my opinion was reasonably good. also when they were being asked questions about their music video idea they answered most of the questions in full depth.

maryam and shoaib

This group's was presenting a bit clearly. however, whether they are going use effects or how long its going to be was a bit unclear.

katy perry ET ft Kanye west

ET is a song made by American artist Katy Perry, the single version features vocals by American rapper Kanye West. the storyline behind this film the outer space. both artists are singing in space where Kanye west seems to singing in a space shell at the beginning of the film and afterwards a strange alien creature appears and this is seen as the creature in which Katy perry distinctively shows emotion to and is very fond about.

the music video's concept is falling in love with a foreigner, whereby Katy perry is the one falling in love and the alien creature is the foreigner. this is a concept based music video because it illustrates a type of weird, unusual theme, also showing a tale quite difficult to understand straight away. this music video gives you a bizarre and peculiar feel looks a bit alien film. the emotion that are being displayed are love because Katy perry seems to be lusting for the alien, also a feeling of despair because all throughout the video you never see her actually getting the alien.

the camera sees what looks like garbage area and a robotic figure. the camera then moves inside this and suddenly its in the outer space where it see a space shell with kanye west inside. it then moves over and it see this strange alien creature. it swirling in mid space and in between all this random images appear, a blooming flower. then the camera moves and it sees Katy perry swirling in mid space. after that kanye west reappears for a short while and Katy perry once again.

Throughout the video, Perry wears heavy cosmetics and extravagant outfits, including blue and pink make-up, cat- and reptile-like eyes and long braids. the location of the song. the music video was released on august 17 2010. the props used in the music video were the glasses and the touching the robot. the lighting was mostly just the sun sun light being reflected towards the characters. kanye west floats inside a space craft at the start of the movie, he doesnt seem to be showingmuch emotion but katy perry floats in mid space and she seems to beshowing sad desparate facial expression. her movements are as though something is escaping from the her.

at the start of the video a pan shot is used followed by a close-up and theratfer followed by a low-shot. then theres a slow moving shot and you will then see another close-up.  and near the end you will see over- the- shoulder shot. the purpose of this music video was create a futuristic alienistic music video that would get a huge number of hits and thereby becoming a great and known music video.

Kesha-Party At A Rich Dude's House

our first idea for the song "Keisha party at a rich dudes house" which Neepa and ashley decided was that whilst the all the teachers in the staff room are working, talking possibly eating that a load of students would just barge in and cause havoc in the staffroom. then Neepa pushes her way past the mad rioters and sings the song

our second idea for the song was to try and film the scene up on the rooftops where Neepa sings.
